mission

Dance PlayHouse is a professional dance company and school based in Grand Haven, MI. Founded in 2024 by Artistic Director, Kelsey Lee, Dance PlayHouse exists to bring more dance, movement, and storytelling to the Lakeshore. Our collaborative of dance artists create thought-provoking choreography for stage performances, site-specific works, and films that elevate the field of dance in our community.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to making dance accessible to the public. Using a donation-based system, we offer affordable performances and classes for individuals of all ages and abilities. In partnership with Central Park Place, Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging, and the Momentum Center, we offer high quality dance education for children and adults, including Barre for adults ages 60+ and Creative Movement for adults and teens with disabilities.
